The problem

Lowering prices without knowing what you keep costs money

Competitors change prices constantly

With hundreds of products you can't keep track by hand, so you end up too expensive or leave margin on the table.

A lower price feels good, until you do the maths

After purchase costs, shipping, VAT and advertising costs, sometimes nothing is left of your margin.

Advertising on products that cost you money

Google keeps advertising products that are out of stock or cost more than they earn.

Every channel calculates differently

Commission, costs and competitors differ per channel. One margin for your webshop, bol.com and Amazon at the same time is never right.

The solution

One engine per sales channel, everything in one dashboard

Every channel has different costs, different competitors and different rules. That's why you reprice per channel, with your own pricing rules and the same approval. The webshop engine is running now; bol.com and Amazon follow.

Competitor prices on autopilot

Add a competitor domain and ApexPricer finds the product page and the price per SKU by itself, and checks them again every night.

Prices

Proposals with a floor

Just below the lowest competitor, but never below the target margin you set. ApexPricer calculates the margin after purchase costs, shipping and VAT, per country.

  • Every proposal comes with a clear reason
  • Nothing goes live in Shopify without your approval
How the proposal comes aboutExample
Lowest competitor€149.00
Just below (your setting)− €1.00
Floor at 20% margin€135.40
Price proposal€148.00

If the proposal would end up below the floor, ApexPricer proposes that floor.

Prices up

Is your competitor going up? You too.

ApexPricer notices when the lowest competitor raises their price and proposes to raise yours along with it, so you don't leave margin on the table. In your dashboard you immediately see for which products that's possible.

  • Alert in your dashboard, your sidebar and your daily email
  • Raising a price, like lowering it, only happens after your approval
AlertExample
Webshop A raised its price
Lounge table oval 120×75 cm · €149.00 → €159.00
Proposal: €158.00
Now €148.00, so €10.00 more per sale

Advertising

Stop advertising what costs you money

ApexPricer flags products that are out of stock or cost too much per sale, and excludes them from Performance Max after your approval. Once the product is healthy again, it proposes to put it back.

  • Works with Google Ads Performance Max
  • Everything can be undone with one click
Ad actionsExample
Hawaii parasol 300×300 cm

Margin as it really is

You stay in control

Nothing goes to your webshop or Google Ads (and soon bol.com and Amazon) without your approval, and you can undo everything.

Updated every night

The proposals are ready in the morning. You review them in a few minutes.

The difference

No price race, but profit

Most repricers do one thing: set the lowest price as fast as possible. ApexPricer first looks at what you keep. A sale at a loss is not a profit, even if you beat the competitor.

What's still to come

  • Email alerts, including when a competitor raises their price.
  • The bol.com engine and the Amazon engine, with their own pricing rules per channel.
  • WooCommerce and other webshop platforms as an extra integration for the webshop engine.
  • Linking products between channels via the EAN, with your margin per channel side by side.

Frequently asked questions

Does ApexPricer change my prices without me knowing?+

No. Every price proposal and every ad action waits for your approval. If you want price changes within your limits to be applied automatically, you turn that on yourself. Any change can be undone with one click.

What if a competitor raises their price?+

Then you'll see it in your dashboard and in the sidebar, with a proposal to raise your price along with it, just below the lowest competitor. You approve that yourself, just like a decrease. You'll also see it in your daily email summary, if you have it turned on.

Which platforms and channels does it work with?+

ApexPricer consists of three engines: webshop, bol.com and Amazon. Every channel has its own pricing rules, because costs and competitors differ. The webshop engine is running now, with Shopify and Google Ads (Performance Max). WooCommerce and other webshop platforms, bol.com and Amazon will follow, in the same dashboard and with the same approval. Which one we build first depends on what's requested most.

Does every product have to be listed on every channel?+

No. Every channel has its own catalogue and stock, and every engine only works with the products of its own channel. If a product is listed on several channels, we'll link it later via the EAN, so you can see your price and margin per channel side by side. ApexPricer already reads the EAN from Shopify and checks whether it is valid.

Does it also work if I sell in other EU countries?+

Yes. You choose per webshop in which EU countries you sell. ApexPricer calculates with the right VAT and shipping costs per country and protects your margin in the strictest country, or only in your main country, which you choose yourself. For now only EU countries and in euros. Your data is stored in Frankfurt.

Do I need purchase prices?+

Yes. Without a purchase price, ApexPricer can't protect your margin. You enter them in Shopify or import a CSV.

What does it cost?+

You start for free. After that you pay a fixed amount per month based on your number of products; Shopify stores pay through their Shopify bill. The amounts are on the Pricing page.

Can other webshops see my data?+

No. Every webshop only sees its own products, prices and results.
